1. in awe

awe的意思是敬畏；驚奇，驚嘆，常見表達有 in awe/in awe of：

I've always held musicians in awe.

我對音樂家們總是肅然起敬。

As children we were rather in awe of our grandfather.

小的時候，我們對祖父非常敬畏。

2. tune up

它的本意是(給樂器)定標準音，tune-up是名詞形式，表示把（發動機）調試到最佳運轉狀態：

The engine needs a tune-up, and can you test the brakes too, please?

發動機需要調試一下，還有請再測試一下剎車好嗎？

tune-up也有“為…做好準備“的意思：
